The paper and what it prioritises
GATE is 65 questions for 100 marks in 3 hours, mixing multiple-choice, multiple-select and numerical-answer-type (NAT) questions. Engineering Mathematics and General Aptitude together carry around 30 marks every year — never skip them — and the core CS subjects carry the rest.

The plan

- Months 9–10: full-length mocks, error-log analysis and formula-sheet revision.
What a good score unlocks
