It emphasises medium-level DSA, clean object-oriented / low-level design, and backend depth (Core Java, Spring Boot, Kafka, concurrency) — often framed around real payment use cases.
A HackerRank OA (a DSA problem, a few MCQs, and a machine-coding task) is followed by one or two DSA technical rounds, an advanced round with core tech / concurrency, a machine-coding / LLD round, an HLD system-design round for experienced candidates, and hiring-manager plus HR rounds. System design
For new grads it is DSA-centric with little formal design. For experienced candidates both LLD (machine coding: a clean, extensible OO design in ~60–90 min) and HLD (scalable fintech systems — wallet, transaction flows, rate-limiter placement, Kafka event streaming) are expected — the classic Flipkart/Swiggy LLD-then-HLD combination, framed around payments.
Behavioural round
No published named-principles rubric. The hiring-manager and HR rounds assess ownership, conflict resolution, team alignment, and motivation, with STAR-style answers advised for project deep-dives. Domain familiarity with UPI, digital payments, and transaction workflows is a plus signal.
